Deviation Fusion Lab for Once Human
An unofficial, player-focused Fusion planning companion that turns complex Deviation traits, materials, Chaos Mutagens, and recovered client data into a clear mobile workflow.
Overview
Deviation Fusion Lab for Once Human is an unofficial, installable companion for exploring Fusion Deviations, Deviation Traits, Fusion Materials, Chaos Mutagens, and possible outcomes. It is designed for quick use on a phone while the game remains open on a PC.
The Player Problem
Fusion decisions combine parent eligibility, material effects, inherited ratings, traits, variant requirements, and outcome uncertainty. The useful information is spread across several systems and is difficult to compare during play. The app turns that complexity into a guided planning workflow without presenting uncertain client data as confirmed live-game behavior.
Product Experience
- Installable mobile-first web application
- Deviation registry and player-facing trait lookup
- Fusion planning with material and Chaos Mutagen context
- Saved plans that remain available on the device
- Guided onboarding and replayable help
- Offline access to committed registry and planning data
Evidence-Aware Engineering
The planning engine is table-driven and built from locally recovered client structures, validated joins, and deliberately constrained eligibility rules. Rows that are merely table-linked are quarantined until acquisition, handbook, mutagen, or gameplay evidence supports them. The interface keeps player terminology primary while preserving deeper provenance for validation.
Architecture & Verification
- Expo Router and TypeScript frontend
- Static, source-hashed game-data artifacts
- Deterministic extraction and validation utilities
- Responsive PWA export with persistent local plans
- Automated type, lint, data, test, and web-export checks
Current Status
The registry, Fusion planning workflow, saved plans, tutorial, and web export are functional. The product remains in development while real-device installation, update behavior, offline recovery, and projection-versus-observed-outcome testing continue.
